Legacy Voices

A WORKING-CLASS ARCHIVE

Some people work underground. Others erect scaffolding, install electrical systems, weld pipe, repair heavy machinery, operate cranes, or build roads — and the knowledge they've banked keeps industries running.

We’re here to honour them.

What is legacy voices?

Legacy Voices is our tribute to the boots-on-the-ground workforce whose hard work, grit, and wisdom have shaped industries, communities, and generations.

We're recording stories from seasoned workers who paved the way — sharing lessons you won’t find in any manual.

These are the voices behind the work — the ones who stayed on to show the rest of us how it's done.

🎥 FEATURED INTERVIEWS

Coming soon: video interviews, field footage, and a growing archive of Canada’s working-class legacy.

Know someone whose story deserves to be told? We’d love to hear from you.

Legacy Voices is open to anyone who has spent 20+ years in a physical, industrial, or community-building role — regardless of title, gender, or trade certification.

That includes longtime operators, shop foremen, custodians, farmers, mechanics, safety mentors, warehouse leads — anyone whose hands-on experience helped build, maintain, or support industry, infrastructure, or community.

They don’t need to be retired or have fancy titles. What matters is their legacy — the knowledge they’ve carried, the people they’ve influenced, and the grit it took to stay in the game.
